Kunming Preschool Teachers College was established in February 2018. It is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational school approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is under the supervision of the Kunming Municipal People's Government and operates under the guidance of the Provincial Department of Education. The school implements the principal responsibility system under the leadership of the Party committee. The school is located in Songming Vocational Education Park, Kunming City, covering an area of 525 acres with a building area of 145000 square meters. The initial investment is 780 million yuan, and it has built high standard infrastructure such as comprehensive buildings, teaching buildings, training buildings, academic lecture halls, libraries, sports halls, standard sports fields, canteens, and student dormitories. It is equipped with more than ten types of fully functional on campus experimental and training rooms, and the total value of teaching instruments and equipment reaches more than 16 million yuan. The school currently has 364 faculty members, including 313 full-time teachers, 139 with associate senior or higher professional titles, and 124 with master's degrees or above. The school offers eight majors: preschool education, early education, human resource management, logistics management, music education, early childhood health and development, financial management, and e-commerce. At present, various forms of education have been formed, including full-time education for ordinary colleges and universities, full-time education for ordinary vocational schools, open universities, and adult correspondence courses. There are currently about 1500 students enrolled.
